Voting Rights Case Moves for Partial Summary Judgment

The League of United Latin American Citizens has moved for partial summary judgment in their voting rights case against the Executive Office of the President. This case isn’t really getting the press it needs, but for the moment we’ll put a pin in that.

Part of my goal here is to demystify court procedure and make these legal words make sense. To that end, I’ve created the above lesson on Summary Judgment and Partial Summary Judgment to explain what those phrases mean and explain them through example.
